How it is counted
Lines come from the editor plugins, which count the lines each edit adds and whether an assistant made it. Beats that do not count lines are left out. The month is a calendar month in UTC.
Nothing here names a person, a project, a repository or a file. A figure (the month, an assistant, a language) is published only when at least 5 people contributed to it, and a row is held back with it when it could otherwise be worked out from the others. How attribution works.
