For agencies

Bill clients for the work, not for the timesheet.

An agency needs two things a timer app gets wrong: hours per client that nobody had to remember to log, and a report the client can open without a login. Inlinr records time from the editor, adds the meetings by hand, and turns both into invoices and client links.

A read-only report shared with a client, protected by a PIN

Time per client repository

Every developer tracks their own work; the team sees the total per repository and per member, bounded to the period each person was on the team.

Rates and invoices per project

Hourly rates per project, versioned so a new rate never rewrites an old invoice. Meetings and calls go on the same invoice as the coding time tracked on your account.

A link for the client

A read-only report of one project, with the sections you choose and an optional PIN. Revoke it whenever you like.

Managers without the keys

A manager runs members, projects and goals day to day. Billing and deleting the team stay with the owner.

The agency pays the seats

The owner covers every seat on one subscription, or members keep their own. Nobody pays twice, and seats follow who is on the team.

Nobody gets watched

No screenshots, keystrokes or idle detection. Teammates see hours per repository and per member, not each other's files.

What it does not do yet

  • · AI attribution: VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf and Claude Code only. JetBrains, Neovim and other editors track time through their WakaTime plugin, without it.
  • · No expense tracking and no accounting integration.

Native plugins for more editors are on the roadmap. If you need the rest today, see the alternatives page.
