Release note
Constructor no longer compiles anything. It just stores the schema and compiles on the first validate() call. Second call onwards is zero overhead.
Native addon is also lazy, nothing happens on the C++ side unless you actually hit the simdjson path.
Error collection path changed too. Previously invalid data ran two passes (boolean check, then error collection). Now it does both in a single pass.
Numbers:
Constructor: 1,432x faster than ajv
Serverless cold start (50 schemas): 0.1ms vs 23ms
First validation: 18x faster
validate(obj) valid: 1.8x faster
validate(obj) invalid: 1.6x faster (was behind ajv, now ahead)
Schema compilation: 171x faster
Fastify startup (5 routes): 0.5ms vs 6.0ms
No API changes. Tests pass. Drop-in upgrade.
