For teams

# Know what the team ships. Without watching people.

Most team time tracking is surveillance with a dashboard. Developers turn it off, managers get numbers nobody believes, and the honest ones stop asking. inlinr is built so the useful half works without the half that gets it uninstalled.

## Where the line is

### The team sees

- Hours per repository, per period
- Hours per member: the owner and managers by default, a team setting
- Whether each tracker is reporting

### Nobody sees

- Which files a teammate opened
- Keystrokes, screenshots, or idle detection
- Source code, which never leaves the machine
- Commit messages
- Anything at all outside your repositories

File-level history exists on your own dashboard, for your own work. A manager cannot open it for someone else, and there is no setting that turns that on. Branches and languages stay on your own dashboard too.

### One repository, several people

Everyone tracks their own work. The owner or a manager counts the repository once, and each member's project on it joins the team; the team sees the total. No shared account.

### Leaving changes nothing

Totals stay correct for the period someone was on the team, and they keep their own history. Nothing is moved or deleted.

### A tracker that stopped is visible

A silent tracker is usually a broken install. Managers see that it stopped. They don't see what the person did instead.

Free for solo use. Create a team when you have someone to add: it pays Pro for the members who tracked time in the last 30 days, and whoever only reads is free. You can set one up before anyone joins, and history attaches as members arrive.
